    mother hen warning ...

When you're listening to your tunes, can you hear cars coming up from behind you, or other riders about to pass you? Just askin'.

I have lots of Dave Matthews and Coldplay on my MP3 right now.

On the road I wear an earphone in the right ear only - and keep the volume low enough to be able to hear whats going on.

On the trainer - Im likely to plug my klipsch speakers in and crank it up!

    Good girl ! [ /mother hen off ]

There's an area I ride which is closed off to traffic and is nice & wide so anyone coming up from behind me had plenty of room to get around, I thought that would be a great place to use my MP3 player.

Trouble is, the sound of the wind (I'm near the bay) seems to be amplified by the earplugs and drowns out the tunes. Do you find that, or is that not a problem w. the earphones you use ?
