    ouch.

Maybe capris or longer type shorts that are more of a cycling short style? I know there are running places that carry "compression" style shorts of various lengths. A long time ago when I ran, some of us had chafing problems. I was very young but I remember the coach telling my mom to get me longer shorts. That seemed to solve the problem.

That has to hurt. I have some capris that have a seam that rub when I do longer runs. I tend to not feel it when I run but when I get in the shower...

Yeah, maybe tight shorts (like these?
Surge Shorts from MEC) with another pair of loose shorts on top if you feel uncomfortable showing your curves?

Me three, Lycra-type shorts with 5"+ inseam are all I run in. My faves were discontinued (big surprise), or I'd send you a link.
