I'd like to revive this thread for some daydreaming...

So those that did do it, how easy was the original paint to get off. my paint is a bit crappy in places and the decals are wearing off. I was thinking of how much fun it would be to spruce up.

someday I am going to replace my drive train, put on speedplay frogs, switch out the stem and handlebars, and if after all that I still have some cash in the bank, add STI. I think a new paint job would be in order too! I call my bike the Turkey Bird because it never really flies but is still so good, do you think I can get decals for that? Or maybe I can get my top tube to day "RIDE OR DIE"
