My bike, on the whole, seems unhappy. I noticed on the trainer a little while back that the shifting is all out of whack as well. (I should really find a bike shop that doesn't include carrying my bike up three flights of stairs, which is something my knee just doesn't seem to be down with. Or, um, maybe I should learn how to do some of these things for myself.)
Bring the whole bike if that's possible. I'll touch up your wheels and see what I can do about the rest. Hopefully, I'll be able to teach you a bit about your bike. I'm not the best of teachers but I try and I'll work for beer.

    I'm still planning on attending.

Unfortunately, we are having some potential scheduling issues - Saturday is the last day of the month on which we can get Oregon plates on our cars...and our NC ones expire at the end of March. If there is a way that DH can do this for me on Saturday, I'll still be able to come. Stay tuned!

I'm trying to think of where in the world there's a shop on the third floor...... You should try 20/20 over on Union. It's pretty close to you, very informal, they love old and new bikes alike, and they do good work.

Pike Place Stout or Dragon's Tooth Stout if you can find it. Otherwise, Obsidian Stout will be just fine.

Plan on getting your hands a bit dirty.

I do share beer. You just have to be quicker than I am.

Now my new bottle of 15 year old Glenlivet, that's another issue entirely.

Looks like we are definitely in too. I'll likely get "deathly sick" if they try to make me work.

Give me some ideas for food please. I'm not sure what y'all can have. Maybe a nice, easy linguini salad? Am I bringing a trainer or not? I'll dig out some skewers if needed too. I have a couple of spares somewhere.

Knot - don't forget to send me an addy please. thanks. (is REI near you? they have a bike rack for the car that I want to check out on the way there.)

    See y'all Sat.
