    Yep, it's The Thing To Do among road riders here. If you tell someone you ride a road bike they immediately ask if you've done Trondheim-Oslo. There are shorter versions like Lillehammer-Oslo, which is dubbed "Lille Styrkeprøven", or "The Little Test of Strength". Sounds a bit strange in English

    There is support on T-O.

    And my impression is that more non-cyclists ask about this, while real cyclists aren't that into it - you need a really big team to do well, and so the smaller clubs aren't that enthusiastic. It's very hyped though.

    I've driven from Trondheim to Lillehamer (winter Olympics in a rent-a-wreck ). It's narrow, it's hilly, it's beautiful. There were deep snow drifts right up to the edge of the road. I can imagine it's beautiful in Spring or Summer.
