I did hills last night. Oddly enough, it felt good! I was initially sore from a 5K on sunday but after I got into it, nothing hurt. I'm tired going up the hill but I am having more stamina than I used to. I can also push myself a bit more which is pretty coolI did have a few moments of thinking "in 20 minutes, I can be at home in a chair with a glass of wine" but those thoughts were temporary.
On sunday (last week, I know!), I ran a 3.5 mile "fun run". There were 15,000 runners so my time wasn't all that because we were dodging walkers, etc. The great thing about it was there were some major roads that were closed and we got to run places that was normally for cars only. The bad part was we had to leap over road debris, up on curbs and back down, and we had to dart around people who would suddenly decide to walk. I guess that would be interval training?!
RnR - you're running faster than me too. That is great!
Wahine, ouch. I am sorry. It must be so frustrating for you.
