That question is a bit open ended...what kind of advice are you looking for?
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...

I had a great swim this morning! I did a pyramid (100,200,300, 400,500,400,300,200,100). I felt smooth. I felt fast. I did the whole thing at a bit under 2min/100m. Why can't they all feel this good?

    My advice:

Step 1 - go out and breast stroke. Step 2 - once comfortable with breast stroke and no longer freaking out start to throw in some freestyle. Step 3 - learn to sight on an object on the shore line about every 6 strokes so you swim in a straight line. Step 4 - go out and swim with buddies who will beat the living daylights out of you while you repeat steps 1 through 3.

Of course, you should always be swimming with a friend anyway. You don't have to make it through all the steps in one session, or even master 1 in one session.

    Hey -

last night was an exercise in mental bravery:
we had no coach and only 4 folks showed up to a "paper" workout.

It consisted, after warmup and some tech drils, of a main set of 10x200 (last 5 with paddles).
I coulda quit early but I did not.

    Yay Alpine. Now that's dedication.

I swam a 100 in 1:30 this morning for the first time ever.

*AND* it was at the end of the workout.

    Hi Girls

I am still babying my elbow, but I did a nice easy workout in the pool today, easy 200's. It feels so good to be in the pool again, even if I have to suffer for it later.

I want one of these, but they don't make them in adult sizes and my head is probably too big for a junior.

Kimmy, I've been looking at those too. I really want one. I think it would hysterical at masters.

I swam 4 days at the pool this week. I've never done that before. I've probably swam 4 days in one week but in OW not in the pool.

That's what happens when you hurt your leg.

I've contemplated if my head would fit in one of those swim caps for a while. Now that I cut my hair I don't have to cram that in a cap anymore maybe it would.

I kicked around in the pool yesterday. Tried to rotate my arm a bit but learned quick I couldn't. It was just nice to be active for a bit.

Why on earth wouldn't they make the Fish Fins cap in adult sizes!?!

    I LOVE that!

This is fun, but not NEARLY as fun as the fish. I also really liked the cheetah print, but I don't think I have what it takes, yet, to declare myself a cheetah-of-the-water!

PS: Can someone tell me how to create a link without inserting the whole link? Like having the word "this" just be the link? Like with Kimmyt's earlier Fish Fins post/link?
