    Well I went to the Polar website after I posted and it is a symptom of battery transmitter death. I guess I'll be getting a new transmitter.

    Tomorrow's ride should be easier than less week's - less mileage, less climbing and the weatherman says less wind.

    I'm glad it's not your generator/lights. My LED lights caused my cateye computer to think I was going 100+ mph.

    I had the same thing happen with my Polar when the battery on my watch and the strap started to go bad.

    When they sent me back the new one they suggested completely taking it apart when your not using it and wash it once in a while.
