I'll ponder this one & let you know. Looks like it'll be a good ride.

I will at least do the 50 mile ride - possibly the 70 since I'll have to put together 2 75-milers the next weekend.

As for our local ride - Kathi, VB, Zen & anyone else who can come (pleasepleaseplease come!) - the brochures should be out tomorrow or over the weekend. I will post it whenever it surfaces. Mileage for it is 62, 40 and 16....with maybe a 30 miler thrown in for good measure. May 17.

Zen - the Tour de Vine is awesome! We'd love it if you could join us.

So what's the deal with the photos on the site?
Is part of the ride on a nice path like that? surely not the whole ride ?!

Yeah, I was wondering about that, too. Pretty scenery, though!

I'm thinking I might do this Shenandoah Valley ride, since I need to train for Tour de Nebraska (300 miles over 5 days) a couple of weeks later. And Jane, I think I'm going to come down for Tour de Madison also. One of our contractors said she'd like to ride it, but her husband has been ill so he can't do it with her.

The only problem is that I hate to drive, so venturing into Virginia twice might be more than I can take!

Oh DB - you have to watch out for us Virginians - if you get too deep into the state, we might just suck you in and you'll never want to leave!
