CC are you doing any VMO specific exercises? To strengthen mine, I do a partial wall squat with a ball squeezed between my knees. Do you do that one?
have you tried looking on line for cycling specific strength drills? Like one-legged spins etc.

Sounds like many of the walking wounded are still struggling! But I love the idea of March as a getting back to riding month. In like a Lion, out like a Lamb, right? So by the end of the month, all our injuries will be like harmless little lambs?
I am struggling too. Today I rode 9 easy miles and my ankle is swollen and painful and the arch of my foot is hurting again too. I rode a little bit on Saturday and Sunday and things felt pretty good. I rested Monday and Tuesday, and just I don't see how easy rides that last less than an hour could be pushing it too much. Prior to Saturday, I was able to do an hour on the trainer with no problem. So why should going outside in this beautiful weather be causing problems?!?! Oh, this is so beyond frustrating!!!![]()
OH yeah! It's going to be 48 when I get home and I am going out for my first road bike ride of the year. I am curious to see how my neck and shoulder will feel. I have about 5 PT sessions left; it feels a lot looser, but I always tense up on the bike. She gave me 2 new exercise to do this week and I hope they help.
