Elk, it's a whole lot easier to unclip from Frogs than to get out of those cages.

i was only using the toe part...no straps....and then I used the power grips, which are ONLY strap...and I realized that I'm kind of worried the whole time that I won't get my foot out in time should I have to stop suddenly....
and I have fallen a bunch of times...so until I get more confident in my body again....I want my feet back!!
so these BMX pedals sound kind of perfect for now...grippy, but free.

I love BMX pedals on my bikes! My Surly Cross Check has Crank Bro 50/50 BMX pedals. Trek420's Motobecane mixte has Wellgo BMX pedals. My Giant road bike will have BMX pedals, too. "My" Kona Smoke also has BMX pedals.
They look fine, they feel great. My other favorite pedal is Speedplay Frogs. (but they're only on my Waterford zooom-bike)
