I am so glad the officer and the officer k9 are both going to be okay. I'm so sorry for the officer that had to shoot the guy. This is a very hard thing for them to go through and I am sure they have offered him, or maybe required some counseling.

This hits very close to home for me considering my DH has been on the police force here for 26 years. Everytime I here of an officer shot it sends chills through me, and I weep for them and the family.
