What a gorgeous bike! The little pink accents are just enough.

Thanks, JuJu. She has no paint - just some strategically located decals. That's why I named her (with the help of TE!) "Godiva".
I love the pink - but the jury is still out on whether I can keep the hubs. The rear hub is not supposed to be compatible with Campy, but my LBS magician modified it and so far, so good. Because we have lots of hills up here the cassette is an 11/27. Everything is fine except for some occasional issues when I have to gear all the way down and use the 27 cog. I have been "testing" it and still can't figure out if it is something I am doing or a real problem. If it's the cassette, I may just have to give up my pink hubs.![]()

Very, very classy. I agree, the subtle pink accents are great. What kind of handlebar is that? Are you able to get the Campy brifters high enough up that the transition from top flat part to hoods is flat/horizontal? I'm not thrilled with my handlebar situation so I'm trying to decide how to shorten the distance to the hoods and have a large enough, comfy drop section... and I'm thinking new handlebars may be required..
No, there is a slight drop between the top of the handlebars and the hoods. Not bad and I don't mind it at all. It is still flatter than my old Shimano setup. My handlebar is a Salsa Short & Shallow. I needed 38 bars and these were great. However, I am waiting, hoping that SOMEDAY someone will make carbon bars for those of us who need something narrower than a 40...
What kind of bars do you have now?

Right now I have bontrager fit VRs. I like that the drop doesn't have any sharp angles, but in order to get the hood at the height/angle I like, there isn't much drop left to hold onto. I've also looked at the Modolo venus (online, not in person), which also has a short reach and smooth drop, but seems to have more to hold onto. I ought to hold the Salsas and see how that ergo bump feels. I think I might really like it, since the main reason I don't like the so-called anatomic bend bars is that I tend to want to grip right where the hood turns and then there's nothing to support my palm.
By the way, Salsa does make their pocos in carbon, though the shape looks different from the alloy model.
