Kathi, thanks for the weather update. I've been looking for a new bike so I'm hoping to test ride a few on snowless roads. If the road riding was too nice I would get spoiled and not want to return to the frigid north. Have a wonderful time sking in the mountains.

For the most part the bike trails have been clear of snow. I have been riding my bike through most of Jan and Feb. There have been a couple of times when we have gotten a storm so I would take a day or two off. My neighboor is one of the guys responsible for clearing the trails and according to him they are usually cleared off by 7am. The only problem you may run into is ice as when the snow melts during the day it runs onto the bike path then at night it freezes over. So my suggestion would be to ride in the late morning to afternoon so the paths would be wet vs icey. Have a great trip

Solobiker thanks for the tip. I'm not one to get up too early. I'll leisurely have a cup of coffee, check the weather, put on bike clothes and finally get out to ride. Glad to hear you've been able to ride this winter.

When are you coming to town? I get off work early so if you want to ride let me know.
