2K today, just slow and steady. I am more than happy that these days, swimming 2K is merely a matter of willpower.

Whoo hooo!! After my warmup, my goal today was to swim 400m without stopping (up from my 300m last week.) I managed the the 400m in 10:20 but felt good so I kept on going until I'd done 750-800m in 21:00 even!!I may have lost count at the very end so I'm not entirely sure if I actually made it to 800m like I though but I'll take the 750m happily because that's what I have to do in ther tri. (Of course, that will be in the lake, in a wet suit, with hundreds of other people kicking and splashing me...
)

I'd like to ask how one can do a flip turn without wooziness..Moons ago we were taught how but the wooziness caused me to stop.
Any suggestions??
I had a great swim this mornin! I think i mis counted on a few of my sets and did more than i had planned in my head. 1hr..
I've never tried one - not ready to go there yet but here's an interesting video I watched about the various stages of learning to do a flip turn.
