I know it's hard to say goodbye, but having a new bike will take the sting out. You are such a tease only showing us the hub!

As a post-bike fair freebie, he threw in a set of Campagnolo clothes worth about 300$ - bib shorts with a cool pad that has air chambers under the sit bone and a windproof long sleeve jacket
(both yellow of course, to match the bike)

[Too bad I just switched to Shimano]

Imma pick it up in a week or so and take the saddle with me to Mallorca to break in. It's a Fizik Aliante. Hope it works for me. I'll keep my cheapo from Fred just in case.

Pretty, pretty bike (can Fred's be pretty?).
Cool about the free duds, too. Campy, Shimano- it's all good. Congrats on your new ride.

So is that the Roy Hinnen you tried at the fair? It's BEAUTIFUL! I love the way he uses the color. I want specs... (such a bike nerd, LOL)

    What is it's weight?
    Is that Ultegra-SL?
    What wheels?

    I brought Rosita home today.....

she felt responsive but stable on the 1K ride to the station. And she is light.... under 8 kg. that's over 1K lighter than Fred.

Now it doesn't look like I'm sitting on it much different from Fred - but it feels different. I'm shifting on the bottom pic - makes me look even more stretched out.

now an even sneakier preview - how it might look with an aerobar. What do the tri girls say to that?
