Big hugs, divingbiker! You absolutely did the right thing and he's a happy boy running across the Rainbow Bridge right now.

Divingbiker: Everyone is right... you should not feel guilt. It is a gift to relieve suffering. I'm so sorry for your loss... that is a long time to have a companion and then lose him. I hope you and your Bailey are doing okay.

Lisa: Your kitties are beautiful! I had to laugh, though. My kitty wouldn't have even noticed that cream, but ohhh... those great strawberries. Every one of them would have been individually picked out of the bowl, and then very carefully batted to the floor. Only when the last one was off the table top would she have rested!

{{{{Divingbiker}}}} Remy knows you did the best for him and he was loved and well taken care of. Remy looks just like my departed Toby. I love those eyes.

Divingbiker - I agree with everyone - and Remy will be met at the Rainbow Bridge by other TE friends, to romp and play with, show him all new smells. I understand your pain, having had to make the same difficult decision for my little Erin (kitty) last December. In a way, there really wasn't a decision to make, and her vet was as broken hearted as I was. Big hugs to you.

Divingbiker, I'm so sorry about your Remy. Please don't second guess what you did. It took a lot of courage to gently lead Remy to the Bridge. My girl Ana will share her frisbee with Remy. I'll bet they both have a beautiful meadow to run to their heart's content. Sending you lots of hugs during this difficult time.
