    Wednesday gratitude

Riding outside, after missing yesterday due to cold rain (today, windy as all get out but not too much ice)

Toughing it out at work--making myself do some things beyond my comfort level

Only one more day of commuting out to Herndon

    Dark chocolate covered blueberries (bliss)

Mr. Mouse's inability to pass up the bait and going into the Electric Trap. Zap, Mr. Mouse. I hope it was quick and painless!

I am grateful today that I have some really great colleagues. Man, does that make a difference in your day.
"My predominant feeling is one of gratitude. I have loved and been loved;I have been given much and I have given something in return...Above all, I have been a sentient being, a thinking animal, on this beautiful planet, and that in itself has been an enormous privilege and an adventure." O. Sacks

    Poor Mr. Mouse.
    Or Ms. Mouse.
Just trying to find a warm place to sit out the winter...

I had to go to Georgetown today
but in doing so may have gotten a clue as to the source of my kinetic dysfunction

I am thankful that I can feel the pain in my shins and foot (I have a paraplegic friend). I am thankful I can afford to make the decision about whether or not to have laser eye surgery.

Unsanitary. Pooping in my kitchen. Terrorizing my dogs. Belongs outside.

I'm grateful he's gone on to a better place.

    Thursday gratitude

    1. Training classes at locations close to home
    2. Being able to ride outside today w/no fear of ice (cold as a witch's youknowhat but blessedly dry)
    3. My swiss ball standing up to Fiona's teeth and the fact that I had a spare plug for it, since she must have eaten the original.

I'm glad BF bought me a pineapple. Now, if he'll just peel it for me, life will be complete

I'm thankful I have a CLE today, and don't have to head into the office.

I'm thankful we have 1 week and 2 days until Daylight Savings time begins. Yes, it will be dark in the mornings, but my friend the sun will still be there to greet met when I leave work at the end of a long day (at least most days!).

    Happy leap day all!

    Friday's Gratitude

    The obvious---TGIF!!!

Today was my FINAL commute all that way (20 miles) out to Herndon

Today was my FINAL day in the assignment that has been a bad match for me

This morning's ride was OUTSIDE where it was cold but ice-free (got to see Diablo, the local coyote, too)

I finally OD'ed on jelly beans, so I won't crave them until next Easter

I'm thankful today that I had MY FIRST FLAT... at home! And, I was able to easily find the problem.
Now I get to go to the LBS and replace my tire, which has a great big hole in it.

Which brings me to ... I'm thankful I get to go to LBS and SHOP!

I'm thankful, too, for my faithful dog by my side all afternoon.

I'm thankful for a good hard ride, and for my wonderful acupuncture doctor.
