Um, I definitely feel bad for this whole thread, especially someone losing money. If there is a sliver lining in this, at least it was a small amount. I hope everyone can find that silver lining...
I agree with some others, it's time to let this thing go. What good does it do to keep repeating the same things over and over? Let this bad situation be something that everyone can learn from, and a thing of the PAST! Let's move on to something more positive!! It doesn't do anyone any good to keep this as something that continues, and continues, etc... Move on!!!
Do you have a lawyer friend with some REALLY IMPRESSIVE stationery? Can you get him/her to write you an IMPRESSIVE letter demanding the money back? If you can do that, go with it. Otherwise... I'd drop it. It's not worth the aggravation/ bad karma to do more.
