I love that with so many sponsers fleeing pro cycling, that this guy is pouring money IN. And no matter how much I've outgrown 'bad boys' - I still get a kick out of it! Honestly, to be a pro cyclist, you have to have a bit of 'bad boy' to ride in such a body-crushing sport. YES, even the ever gentle George H. (YAY for his win today in Stage 7 of TOC!!!!)
And Cipo? He's one fit 41 year old! That's awesome too.

I have a feeling, we're going to be seeing ALOT of the RR kits on the road when they come availiable. More than the argyle of Slipstream, as much as I love those boys!

I guess I shouldn't complain too much. Like someone said, he IS pouring money into the sport. He is making it more appealing to the younger generation with the logo and all...

And thanks to BikeMomma for the link to M. Pantani. After his death, I've always felt sorry for the pirate. To be broken by Armstrong...

Forty-one is young. A professional athlete should look good at 41.

too Miami Vice for my tastes.
I'm starting to go in for the moustache and argyle look

I saw them at the Tour of California. Cipo was the only rider with "handlers" escorting him to the start line. I am still technically challenged, so I cannot post the pictures I took of their entourage. Picture right to left, merchandise booth, team cars, large black bus, older model Rolls Royce and then an SUV. Across the street were about 20 motorcycle cops, all in a row facing the Rock Racing group. While it wasn't intentional (the cops were regrouping after the start), it made an interesting shot that is on my computer but I can't get to post here. They definitely have a 'tude.

*LOL* Knot - We are going to have to bring this thread up again just before next September 19 so we can practice.

    Thumbs up Rock Racing

I feel really out of it. I just saw the second to last stage of ToC on Versus on Saturday...can't do the wee hours of the morning thing! Anyway...I saw the Rock Racing commercial before I even noticed teh team in the tour. I thought it was really cool becuase this summer I was in Wisconsin and saw them in a crit (not w/ all the cool gear, clothing and colors) but saw the team car and entourage. Thought they were cool then. So I guess I think they are still "cool" now to me. This thread has given me some info and background. But I still think they are fun and cool to watch. Right now what we need is some excitement (other than who will get kicked out of the Tour d/t drugs) in cycling!
