SheFly - I like to think that I can go faster than I can . This name came to me out of the blue one day, and I've been using it since. On other forums, I'm known as MrsCouch - DH is CouchingTiger (aka Couch). The funny thing is that he hardly sits still...

I'm orginally from the South, and most Southerners say "aunt" as aint--at least in my part of the South. I had a great, great aunt who was called Aint Doody. I can't even remember her real name now. There was a story about a cousin saying, "Oh, Aint Doody, I luv you!" So when I got my Pilot in 2005, all I could think of was, "Oh, Aint Doody, I luv you!" The bike became Aint Doody, but I shortened it to Doody, and I became Aint Doody.

Later when I looked at it, I thought--Hmmmm, this could be translated into meaning "not sh.."
Tis better to wear out than to rust out....

That's TOTALLY what I thought it meant! I always took it as an expression of humility. Honestly!

I figured the aint was aunt, but thought doody was some form of her name.
I had an aunt, Josephine, who's name my eldest cousin could not say when he was a child. He tried to say "Jo Jo", but it came out "Dodo". So she was always Aunt Dodo to all of us. She wasn't a flightless bird, certainly not an idiot. So...Dodo...Doody. Whatever!

I have an aint Noller. She is really Aunt Ann, but this always drove her nuts, so of course, what do all the kids do?

DH and I would tell all of our friends how far I would ride at a time while I was training for a century. They would all look at us and ask me, "are you crazy?"

I do have an instructor in school that originally thought it was crazy bikini chic. I laughed when she said that. I told her absolutely no way this body would get in a bikini.
