So I am moving to Temple, Tx at Scott and White hospital. It is 1/2 way between Austin and Waco. I don't see any Oly tris in the area that are between my move and when I start residency, but there are plenty of Oly and 1/2IM in the area. Once I get my call schedule I will enter a race.
(yeah - I have been doing the longer workouts for base and now I am considering a 1/2 IM - yes, I am crazy)

Yay, I'm glad that you know where you'll be residing (mostly not at home, tho
) for the next few years. It's a pretty nice area down there. North/Central TX has some fine races in the summer. You'll have LOTS to choose from. And a HIM? You ARE crazy (and wicked dedicated to be taking that on along with residency).
