If you signed up for the DR lottery & your name doesn't get drawn, there's always the Mt. Shasta Super Century in early August - 135 miles and 16500 ft of climbing. whee.
Plus you get to ride with Starfish & me.

Most of the descending is in the last few miles. It's like a climb all day then fly straight down.
