The boys I ride with call me Gus. That is the name I got when I earned my honorary Y chromosome last summer.

Limewave -- was that from "Hunt the Wumpus"? (Ancient, pre "real computer" texas instruments game). I loved that game when I was about 7.

The bike club I'm with gave me the nickname "fruitgirl" b/c the first event I volunteered with them, I had this cooler w/ snacks and whatnot(incl some fruit) enough for everyone and the name stuck. Every now and then if there's an event I'm asked did I bring any goodies. My other new nickname w/ them is Madam Secretary since I'm club secretary now. Jenn
this may come as a surprise, but my nickname is beane.
My nickname from middle school is Corny, short for Cornflakes. It was middle school after all.
My alternate personality's name is Kit McCracken. She used to be a pirate, but now she plays roller derby.

Well, not really..people have tried to use Jeannie on me...I'm not warm at that moment. I truly dislike the diminunitive of my name on me, but on someone else it works...like another cyclist, she's a good friend... but it's her real name.
Unless you count my name in my mother tongue..which it is used in that language and I will respond. It is actuallly a beautiful translation into English : "Precious" or "Highly Treasured" and with my middle name which translates as Orchid. So the 2 together is poetic (to me).
Well, sorry, come to think of it, he calls me Poobie, if it's not dearie.
And I call him....honey-jurgen-bear...... his German, legal first name is Hans-Jurgen (he has an English name)...because he does have honey everyday...
And yea, we call each other these names while cycling..

Some were shocked. I'm 5'1".BTW I did not get the nickname by being vicious, I got it from a simply horrific e-mail fauxe pas (sp?) of global proportions

Kiki. My real name is Kim and my 11th of 12 nieces/nephews, when first trying to say my name, said it Kiki. And it sort of stuck. Though my mother, God rest her soul, said "why do you let them call you that stupid name". I told her, better than the stupid one you gave me.I especially like it when folks put my title on there, cause there is something fun about Dr. Kiki.
Though I guess not very professional. I also have a few friends that call me Kimbo, Kimba (the white lion for those of my age), and my oldest brother has recently taken to calling me my nickname from when I first started talking - Timmy Annie.

I've never really had a nickname.
My grandfather, Leslie, had 2 brothers, Alan & Floyd.
Their nicknames were Eckie, Skeets & Happy. For their entire lives.
OH, oh, oh!!! I forgot my FAVORITE nickname of all time.
Ama. Like Mama without the m. My sweet little almost-3 grandson calls me Ama. It melts me.
