Man, I do not like weighing in on Fridays. It's like my scale knows it's coming and gives me a hard time. Yesterday morning I swear I was 118.3 but this morning, it's 119.6 so that's what I'll go with. Same thing happened last Friday.

    Holding, Thank Goodness!

Ok.. I think the weight is the same -- 174.6lb. Which, I feel is lucky. I worked out more miles, longer swims, longer and harder rides, but my diet this week fell apart!

Sunday I will be going to a conference in Las Vegas with friends for 4 days. This will be a hard week for me -- eating out every meal, etc. I'll have to buy some walnuts and fruit and veggies for snacking on! Wish me luck... taking the swimsuit and running shoes -- I'm sure the hotel has a gym and pool, so at least I can get up in the morning and make amends for my culinary sins of the night before.

By the way -- do we HAVE to stop the challenge? I like the idea of a weekly check in long term -- sort of our own Weight Watchers' meetings. What does everyone think?

I agree! It's been really helpful for me to come here every Friday. I feel much more sane about slow, steady, healthy weight loss knowing I'm not the only one trying to do it.

Down 2 from the 2 I gained last week while bicycling four days in the desert. Will I NEVER break out of this zone?

    Thumbs down weight loss?????

Ok, I did not record a weight last week.
After a week in CT (cold, no exercies, lots of food & drinking) it would of been dismal...then add a week of having a bad cold (darn that cold weather up north!) with no exercise (but less eating and no wine!)....I seem to stay about the same... but up a bit...118.2.
Oh well! I thought trying a contest with my partner and joining this would really help me get focused. But obviously I am not "internally" motivated enough. Looks like I will be buying a water bottle!
For those of you that are losing--GREAT JOB! Since I know how hard you must be working. For the rest of "us"--at least we are paying attention to it and the best part is we are getting our "you know whats" out there, on the saddle and logging the miles. That is better than many people I know. So keep up the good work!
So here it is friday, with riding plans this weekend (finally feel good enough to ride) and I am pledging to "control" the eating and drinking and get my plan on paper so maybe I can make downward progress on the weight!
    Ride on!

I'm holding at 138.0. It was another rough week. Hopefully next week I can make a change and go down a bit.

Congrats to all of you for the various accomplishments!

Wow, a lot of us are doing very well! Too bad I'm not one of them!

I totally forgot that today was Friday, so I'll weigh tomorrow morning. I don't think it'll be good because I've not been paying ANY attention to what I ate at all this week. Not good.

I did start eating better yesterday though, so I'm on track to turn this trend around for the last week. I also think that keeping this going is a good idea! I can make another chart for say the next 8 weeks if people want to keep tracking. Personally, it keeps me honest to see the numbers on the screen every week alongside everyone else's. Of course, I say that as if I've actually been keeping up with chart postings! Oops.

I'll get it updated tomorrow when I weigh in, and I'll post it for everyone. I promise!!
