I have a wool weenie confession. I now have an Ibex folder in "my favorites" where I save all of the good Ibex stores/sites.

I have succumbed to more Ibex: the 300-weight loden Cortina vest (same one Lisa has) in the Ibex Outlet. I ordered yesterday at 10 am and it was on my doorstep this morning. The loden wool is wonderful. All their newer vests seem to use the lighter 150 loden, so glad I grabbed the Cortina now.

I also got a Zephyr skull cap for $15 on the winter sale. It is described as midweight, whereas the Meru is described as lightweight. The Zephyr seems pretty thin by my standards, however. It's almost too long for my head - covers well below the ears and down my forehead, but I have a small head.

My Smartwool helmet liner covers the ears completely and fits beautifully. It does not creep up and leave earlobes exposed as I ride either, it stays put. But it's not a "hat", it's a helmet liner. Every "hat" I tried under a helmet is too bulky.

MIMI- I saw a smartwool helmet liner right here on TE. Ask Lisa if that is the one she has.

Yes, I was *looking* cuz I did order MORE WOOL. This time I made a TE order for 2 pairs of those stripy smartwool knee socks that are on sale (I have NO wool socks), and decided to try a couple of their Hind closeout bras designed for larger cup sizes. Funny how everything shrank except my boobs this time.... I would have loved to try the wool bra, but knew it wouldn't work for my cup size. -e

Mimi, I have the Smartwool helmet liner, and it is too big for my head. I would be willing to sell/trade/deal. PM me.

Have you tried washing and drying it on low in the dryer? I have a teeny head, and mine was just a bit loose too (my Mero was a bit loose as well), but I washed and dried it in washer and drier on gentle and it then fit perfectly.
