Tri- yes that's the hat I was thinking of. Satellite/orbit.....

Way too bad about the Energy tights! They are really good and warm- way warmer than the "Woolie" base layer bottoms. Keep looking- Ibex's thick wool tights are fabulous. Mine are last year's model, and were called the "Approach" tight- so you could search for that as well.

Thanks again Lisa. I ended up cancelling the hat order, cuz they wanted way too much money to ship a single hat. So I tried my local outdoor shop who had the ibex on 50% off, and while they didn't have any ibex hats they had a nice selection of smartwool at 50% off. I scored a striaightline hat in medium gray for $14.95 (the one in the rear of the 3 in the picture), which also matches my coat well, and it did cover my ears.

I have a wool weenie confession. I now have an Ibex folder in "my favorites" where I save all of the good Ibex stores/sites.

I have succumbed to more Ibex: the 300-weight loden Cortina vest (same one Lisa has) in the Ibex Outlet. I ordered yesterday at 10 am and it was on my doorstep this morning. The loden wool is wonderful. All their newer vests seem to use the lighter 150 loden, so glad I grabbed the Cortina now.

I also got a Zephyr skull cap for $15 on the winter sale. It is described as midweight, whereas the Meru is described as lightweight. The Zephyr seems pretty thin by my standards, however. It's almost too long for my head - covers well below the ears and down my forehead, but I have a small head.
