Dear Smoke and House Alarm Manufacturers:

Is there some effin' reason your systems must always start "low battery" alerts in the middle of the night?

I feel your pain SK ... our smoke alarm started chirping in the middle of the night and the bedroom ceiling is 18 ft tall. We have to get an extension ladder to remove/replace the battery.
