No kidding. Very strategic. So much so that I believe that since we can "insure" that we will receive their e-mails regarding registration, that means we are entitled to something if we don't? I quote....

In order to insure that Danskin global emails including registration receipts can be received, you can add the following email addresses to your Internet Service Provider address/contact book and also contact your ISP and tell them to allow emails to be accepted from the following - info@timberlinetiming.com, noreply@timberlinetiming.com, bounce@timberlinetiming.com.

Yes, I am ready for this to be over.

    Thank you for asking

Well. Starting this morning, if you go to the Danskin triathlon page, there is nothing. It's almost like an error message but it IS the page....so I went directly to the Timberline Timing page but there's no option to register yet.

I think it is nigh. I also hope it doesn't open on the ONE day I have plans or something like that. Does this qualify me to receive anti-anxiety medication?

    Oh no...

    Aackk!!!
I'm leaving town Sunday am for a conference for 4 days and nights! How can I effectively (obsessively ) be checking this website all day if I am sitting in a conference?

I'm so MAD this hasn't opened yet!

Is there anyone willing to text me when it opens so I can race out of the talks and find a computer?

Let me know if you are someone who has easy access to both computer and phone to text and I'll give you my info.

Any help would be SO appreciated!
    Thanks in advance!

    Jes,

I will, if you'd like. I've got a list going! Rather we've got a mutual thing, whoever sees it first texts the others. Odds are I'll see it though because at work, I'm on a computer all day. At home, er, I'm on a computer more than I should be

If you PM me your cell #, I'll add you to the list.

    Teigyr, you are a doll.

PS Just a little gratuitous commentary while we're waiting...

    And waiting, and freakin' waiting....

The good thing is it HAS to be before the bike expo because if she's speaking there, does she really want a gaggle of disheveled women asking her when the registration will open? It wouldn't be a pretty sight.

I had a little moment of panic when I saw a couple new pages of WfDTR... thought it might have opened since I checked on Wednesday.

    Whew!

Had a great time at the bike fitting class, now gonna be social for the weekend here in lovely SF.

Oh thanks for the offer. When I saw it wasn't open yet again today I got worried. IF I can figure out PM'ing, I'll drop you my cell number.

For those I will msg if I see it first (Knot, Salsa and Jes) I'm going to send a test msg. My phone sends even normal messages in a graphic format. It happened when AT&T took over and I'm not sure if I can change it back. I just want to make sure that everyone gets it and it's ok.

I'll do it now, just respond to let me know you got it

    No, not yet

But check this out. I was doing some idle web searching just to see what I could find out (ie is there something internal that has dates that isn't posted to the public?) and this was from last year:

    http://www.rei.com/danskin

I wish I would've known about that bit that you could register at the REI even if it was sold out. I wanted to do that tri!

Anyway, am still poking around. I'm a tired and frustrated girl with too much time on my hands.

yeah, first-timers can do that thru REI or Nordstrom. I think LunaChix has a connection, too.

I think I just saw that Seattle registration opens Tuesday 2/26.

    http://www.timberlinetiming.com/inde...1&showBanner=1

I did Webster as a first timer last year and another local sprint tri. I'm doing webster again, and am thinking of doing Orlando with my family as well.

Has anyone done Orlando before? I have 3 kids 4, 6, 8 and I think they'd love to be doing the magic kingdom all say saturday while I'm doing check in! We've never been there and this seems to be a good a reason to go to Disney as any.

    Bump, yawl

Bump, you guys. Mkidd is right. The site now says that registration for Seattle opens Tuesday Feb. 26. But what time, dammit??? That's what I want to know. I'll be at work that day. Hope I don't get fired for signing up via school computer.
