I know what you mean, Robyn! Seems like every time I check this thread, I end up yanking out my credit card.......Yesterday's talk about the Pingo jacket (I already own TWO) had me eyeing the sale on REI's website. I put a Small chocolate Pingo in my shopping basket in the morning, resisted the temptation to check out, went back later in the day---and to my relief---they'd sold out of my size, yayyyyy!.....

Lisa, I wore my Ibex Climawool gloves yesterday for a late afternoon 10-miler in high 40s temps. Love 'em, very comfortable, but you're right---they're definitely not built to fend off a serious wind chill factor on a bicycle. They did just fine yesterday, but in lower temps I'll add a liner glove. Next ride, I'll give the Ibex loden mittens a whirl.....
