I get the questions about horns on my clothes too.
I probably shouldn't raise the temptation, but rei-outlet has some great prices on some ibex items, including the pingo, nolita and mollie jackets. Limited sizes and colors. Its their .83 sale.

Anyone have the PINGO jacket? Does it run short? It looks like a short jacket.

For only $49.83, I'd get one of those Pingos... IF I hadn't just spent a gazillion dollars on Ibex this month already. http://www.rei.com/product/756403?vcat=REI_SEARCH

And look at the cozy Nolita for only $69.83. Same color as my full-zip Switchback (the one that didn't shrink) so I'm not too tempted. http://www.rei.com/product/756406?vcat=REI_SEARCH

Sandra......I have two Pingos. Yes, it is a short jacket--shorter than, say, the Cirque. That's why I returned the Cirque I got on STP and opted for the Pingo instead. The Cirque hit me at a point on the hip that made the jacket puff up; the Pingo is a little shorter and so doesn't hit the same point.........Given the rock-bottom price on REI, I'd grab one and give it a whirl; at worst, you end up returning it, right?

I ordered the L and the XL in the chocolate. I will return or offer up here the one I don't keep. My Shak is out for delivery today, so I'm still not real sure about size yet.

Robyn and DebW and I admired the Pingo jackets in the Arcadian Shop. The chocolate is a very dark brown and all the Pingos were really handsome and looked great on me. But....several of us had trouble getting the two-way zipper to get started properly. Kathi, do you have the 2 way zippers on your Pingos, and if so are they easy to work? Or did they switch to a 2-way zipper more recently?
The Large Pingo fit me beautifully, so Sandra I imagine the XL will fit you (see previous Johnny Cash song post for reference).
I hope the zipper works well on yours because it's a GREAT jacket.

I am anxiously awaiting the arrival announcement of Sandra's first shak!!

How about $25 for a Wooly Warm sleeveless merino top at Rivendel? Available only in men's xs, which may fit up to a couple sizes bigger. They also have a long-sleeved top for $35.
