As for wearing stuff while riding? I always wear two gold wedding bands - mine on my wedding finger, and my man's on my thumb of the same hand as he has a joint problem which means he can't wear his except for very short periods of time. Unless we are going to a funeral or wedding I always wear two wedding bands.

I have a pounamu necklace I wear most of the time and often wear that while riding/racing.

I have a silver pentacle bracelet which I wear most of the year and that stays on whilst cycling.

All other jewellery comes off. I often wear 3 necklaces (a bone carving of a lioness and amethyst with a silver crescent moon wrapped onto it) and at work I wear loads of bracelets - all mingled which probably bothers some people but when you love them all how do you choose (fresh water pearls, silver bangles, paua and silver, gold twists etc...). The gold stuff gows on my wedding band arm, the silver on my pentacle necklace side...

When I do wear earrings I only ever wear one at a time - but never when riding/racing. I wear an anklet in summer, but again, never when on the bike.
Ravens in jewellery, meaning a native Indian (or in Canada we call "aboriginal") is a common design in the Vancouver area. Not so much in central and eastern Canada.

You have to come to the Pacific Northwest coast... I would tend to choose a real silversmith. Anyway my ears require real metal because allergic to other materials.

Some of your necklaces seem lovely in design.

This same question was asked to guys...and there were all sorts of stories about bashed up rings, swollen finger for wedding band while exercising, etc.

I always take off my wedding band. Its a thin platinum band with a row of inset diamonds. I love it, but I never wore jewelry before I got married and I find it really distracting when I work out. Sometimes I go for days before I remember to put it back on
