Comm Ave doesn't go through Cambridge...out to Brookline and Newton. I'm only pointing that out because I spent a good deal of my childhood in Cambridge, so maybe I went to 6th grade with Silver (oh, I'm very confused--do you mean Mr. Silver's mom or Silver??) It's my Mom...and you're right...it was Aberdeen Ave just north of Mt. Auburn Cemetary...I don't know how I got Commonwealth in my brain...must have been from CarTalk...
