What a sad, sad, night last night was for me. I was the only one at the party we hosted rooting for the Pats and we got hosed!!!!!

They are tasting something a little different.

I was very impressed with the Giants defense. They figured out how to hold the Pats better than anyone else this season.

The Giants had an outstanding defense and Pretty Boy Brady got sacked how many times? Five, I think.

My mind keeps going back to that Randy Moss's little sideline display of a sort of outstretched-arm chicken dance.

All players engage in grandstanding after scoring a touchdown -especially in a game like the SuperBowl. Moss's touchdown put them in the lead...he was entitled to a little showboating. It's only with the 20/20 vision at the end of the game does it seem foolhardy. So it's pointless to condemn a player for it after the fact.
There were 3 lead changes in the 4th quarter.. a Superbowl record. The game could have gone either way. It was a superb game...they were greatly matched, despite what their records showed. The Giants did a lot of growth throughout the season. They deserved to come away with a hard fought victory.
Their defense was fantastic last night. I hated seeing Brady get so beat up (wasn't Eli sacked 3 times?), but the Giants defense completely shut the Pats down. It was a totally defensive game last night.
Hats off to the Giants, and I think Spagnuolo (the defensive coordinator) should get MVP!

He'll be 31 next week - that's old in NFL years.
