As for the club that gets your miles, you choose which club to give the miles to when you enter a ride; it's right at the bottom of the page.

(I don't feel guilty... the club in Ohio isn't my primary f2f club either... the one that is, is extremely small and not on BikeJournal... and besides that's not where I'm logging the miles right now )

I don't know whether you can assign individual rides to one club or another, or whether they all go to your primary club, but I suspect the former.

In '07, I was on both TE and the 2500 in 2007 Challenge groups.
    TE was my "primary".
My miles showed up in - and counted toward totals in - both group lists. I'm not sure what I did that may have been different, but there's gotta be something in "manage my clubs" or preferences that you can select to ensure your miles count for both.
That said, I'm only in TE this year, and I am dutifully loggin' those miles!

I think all 6 of my miles for 2008 are logged for TE. 6 miles.... poooo, that's too low.

i just recently joined bikejournal so i could log miles to add to the TE fund, so to speak. i have only logged 31 miles and that was due to a good day with no horendous (spelling?) wind, sleet, rain, or the almighty snow that seems to be scarce in my neck of the woods as of this winter.

Thanks for the reminder. On Saturday, when I have some time and no way of going anywhere in the snow, I will log the 250 km of trainer rides I've done since Jan 1. Will that help? Oh, wait, it will be more by then!

I added myself to the TE Bike Journal team, and logged my rides. Nothing impressive, but there are some miles.

Yesterday's ride was WINDY. Nothing quite like trying to out run a thunderstorm. Rain, I don't mind; lightening, not so much.

Didn't know about BikeJournal until this thread, got signed up today...logged in my 10 miles from earlier....I know it isn't much but it's all I could fit in today considering the time I had between being a "taxi" for my boys and soccer camp this week.

Is there an official TE team, or can we denote TE as our club and have our miles go there? I don't belong to any club or team, but have been using bikejournal.com for a couple of months. Would be happy to have miles count for something more than just my own personal journal.

I have TE as my primary club, and post all my miles by default to TE. I'm also a member (actually, the slacker hostess ) of the 5000 mile challenge club, and my mileage total turns up fine on the 5000-mile club list. I never noticed this before.

Oh yeah, now I get it. My mileage total is my mileage total, and shows on the member list no matter which club they're posted to. But the "club ranking" on the front page is ranked by how many miles are posted to each club. Maybe it shows up somewhere else too, I don't use many of the BikeJ functions.

and hermitclub - post to TE and have at it! the only official TE team are the people currently viewing this

Sweet. I didn't know you could list muliple clubs. I just added my 2008 miles (all 2,149 of them, yippie!) to TE.

Can I do a year to date entry for each of my bikes? I have not kept track of my individual rides, but know the number of kilometers I've done since January pretty accurately. Since it's near 1600 km, I'd love to add it to TE, but I sure don't want to have to add individual rides!

    Any ideas?

There's an option to batch load your mileage. Under 'Add ride' click the check box for 'bulk entry'.
