I want to see pictures of it in the daylight!
Looks great.
What is the frame made of? And yes, what is that saddle and what was the reason you picked it?

Daylight pictures are going to wait awhile...snow, clouds and generally dreary forecast for several days yet. Needless to say I was so thrilled, I just *had* to post the preliminary pictures.
It is a steel Waterford. It is a RS-33 model. The oversized down tube makes you look twice, but it is steel and it is lighter than my aluminum. I'm really looking forward to the gentler ride of steel. And, of course, the Campy shifting (although, I embarassed myself in the shop by forgetting how it worked). I was afraid that given that it is basically a 58cm vertically and a 52cm horizontally that it would be a funny looking frame. But I think she turned out pretty nice.
The saddle is the Selle SMP Lady Strike of this thread's fame ( http://forums.teamestrogen.com/showthread.php?t=20637 ). It is one of the few saddles around that is wide in the back and has a generous cutout. You get 3-point pelvis support and it gets out of the way where you want the saddle to get out of the way.

Ah, the naming....the current thought is Galanas which is the Welsh equivalent of Weregild which is the old English for Blood Money....the price that is demanded of a person guilty of homicide. Galanas sounds less harsh, seems to have the nicest "roll of the tongue" and, of course there is the foreign word cache'![]()
Why? Eons ago I had a good job. A happy job. But, the company was purchased by a large multi-national firm. They killed my job, but I stayed there for the 2 years it took to vest my stock options. I then took that money and used it to increase my quality of life--the Waterford is one of those things. Hence, blood money, but Galanas sounds so much nicer.
And, she says "Hi"
