... So I cruised over and read some of the blogs at Women Who Ride 'cause I remembered I was going to do that - http://womenwhoride.typepad.com/jen/...l-about-y.html asks for goals from readers and everybody's been too shy or something... they're good reads

I think she's moderating her comments. I posted but it doesn't appear on her site.

Generally when comments are being moderated, it just means there will be a delay in posting. On mine, I get an email that tells me I have a comment. I go look at it, approve it, and it appears shortly. So If you post in the middle of the night, it may be a bit before it gets posted.

The main reason is to keep out spam and obscenity.

Yes, there's a note somewhere that thigns will appear after they get by the moderator. I imagine stuff will show up reasonably quickly - tho' the ones I posted last night aren't up there...

I got an email answer about my goals - she said she's gotten some in private email (people are shy, eh?). I think it would be good for the folks at Trek to know the kinds of things we post about... what better way than to post over there?

    Thanks for this link, Geonz
It is quite interesting... am looking at it in "bits and pieces"

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
    "I will try again tomorrow".

Laura McLean's picking up on the idea of a "Make Your Own Valentine's Day" with an indoor ride... a la century... (which of course *some* of us will have to do outside so it won't be a century ) ... and it needs a name. "No Candy A**es is one of my favorite suggestions...
