I just wanted to update my report on the Ibex Knee Warmers. While I did have problems with them not staying put on my ride in yesterday, I simply placed them higher up on my leg for the ride home and they were fine. It was not a cold day, but windy and the windbreaking front really did its job. Again, for the weather I wore them in I was glad that I didn't overheat. There is one neg. review of them at the ibex site (probably why they are on sale!) but I disagree. I think the fit is great, but you do need to experiment with positioning, as the wool isn't quite as forgiving as lycra if they aren't positioned properly to begin with. I was having trouble to find leg warmers that aren't too long, so I realized with the addition of high cut socks they can easily double as leg warmers.

Deb, I highly recommend the knee warmers and arm warmers, which are deeply discounted right now at the ibex website. The only problem is your limbs may be a bit too slim for them, since the smallest they come in is unisex small (garment measurements are posted here on TE by susan in the apparel section). I rode with them for the first time today. The arm warmers stayed up fine and are quite long, but the leg ones did creep down, although they never slipped out from under the band on my shorts, so I am going to play around with placing them higher to begin with. Great at temp. regulation. It was a warmer morning, but they kept me warm without letting me overheat. A great product!
