AHHHH! I bought it.
I haven't seen too many x smalls and the price was right.
I am bad.
Bought what?!?
Trisk- those razzels look sweet. They are not like heavy sweaters though- should be nice and soft.....
(you know you want one)
Just in case anyone is missing the parts where they show what's currently on sale at Ibex:

I imagine the Ibex sale lasts until things sell out (I think they are trying to clear winter stock to make room for spring/new items).
You could always make an order, with the expectation that you'll return things later, but then you need to plan for the return postage fees. I will tell you that Ibex at those prices is unusual. Just keep the tags on, and once you try things this weekend (which may hapen before your order arrives) you could even exchange some items you ordered for items you tried on, and I think they'll charge you less postage on an exchange.
One thing I have learned is that you can gather a lot about fit from whether the item is described as form fitting or semi fitting. For me, the smalls in the semi-fit items fit very nice for professional or casual settings, whereas the items described as form fit, fit very close to the body, which is fine, even desirable for activity, but may look too snug for professional use (unless one sizes up).
I was feeling a little bad last night, cuz both the stratto sweater and razzle are now on sale, and perhaps if they were on sale a week ago I would have ordered them instead of the green kate/black shak, but as I sit in my office in my green kate/black shak, while it is 34 degrees outside, I wouldn't have it any other way. I have it paired my black wool pants, and it looks very chic and professional, yet I can pair the same top with cycling tights, throw over a cycling jacket, and bike, or put a goretex suit over and cross-country ski. The full zip shak is an incredibly versatile piece. In fact, I may wear my shaks to my DC meeting instead of a suit jacket, since a suit jacket is actually too formal, the shaks make me look just the right level of professional for a scientist, let me feel comfortable, and keep me toasty warm but not overheating in a normally heated room.
There is a review of the Ibex Balance Seamless Sport Bra at www.backpackinglight.com. This is a subscription site so most of you won't be able to read the whole article. But suffice it to say the Ibex's wool sports bra got an excellent review for comfort and performance in high-output winter activities. The reviewer wore it for backpacking, rafting, and swimming, even for 6 days and nights straight. Only slight downside was that it should not be worn as outerwear when wet.
