I'm lusting after lodden wool mittens (but $45 on sale?). And 3/4 Janes and a Norgie Crew. I have arm warmers and leg warmers and knee warmers.
Oil is good, grease is better.

Deb, they have the loden mittens and the Norgies at Arcadian, so you could try them on there. Not sure about the 3/4 janes.

Deb, here is a link to some ibex cycling shorts on sale: http://www.westhillshop.com/index.as...ROD&ProdID=235

I also noticed a lot of items are now reduced at the ibex site, not listed in outlet, but in their regular sections. I want one of these in green: http://www.ibexwear.com/shop/Product...ing.php?LPID=9
But, I will not spend that much money even on sale, and especially not after what I just finished buying.

Oh Trisk, you really ARE an enabler now!!!!

By the way, I should mention that I have one of those Skimmer caps, and I don't really like it much. It's not stretchy enough and doesn't cover my ears very well. If you want a wool helmet liner get the Smartwool one which covers ears completely and stretches over the head beautifully. It also has less bumpy seams.

Thanks Lisa, but actually its the Razzel sweater I've been lusting after, I guess the link just takes you to the general page. I just love the 17.5 merino..........

    Bought what?!?

Trisk- those razzels look sweet. They are not like heavy sweaters though- should be nice and soft.....
    (you know you want one)

Just in case anyone is missing the parts where they show what's currently on sale at Ibex:

I have the Ibex Meru hat (as does Trek) and just love it as a helmet liner. It fits great under the helmet, breathes and wicks like only wool can, and covers my ears perfectly.

Edit: I see the Meru with earflaps is also on sale for $15. Trek420 and I have regular Merus.

I am thinking to order the Meru on the Ibex sale site. The gray would like nice with my new coat. But, I can't find a model with ear flaps. Will the normal one cover my ears and be warm in a cold place for everyday use, or is it really best to wear under a cycling helmet?

I find mine to be pretty thin- better as a helmet liner. Actually, I like my smartwool helmet liner even better, it covers my ears better and is stretchier so it stays put better. My helmet liners look too weird if I try to wear them like regular hats- my head then looks too small! I thought the Ibex Orbit hat looked pretty cool in the Arcadian shop....it has flaps too.
