I just want to clarify and make sure
everyone understands that this is an "unsupported" ride.
It is not an "organized" ride, (like we are all use to) no fee involved,
and no fund raiser

Remember - this is an "at your own risk" ride.
This is just several people gathering together
to go bike riding.
There are no $ fees $ and no insurance,
Every person assumes any and all liability.

This ride is very rural and some areas seem remote
(out in the middle of nowhere) Most of the roads are very low traffic.
It is open to anyone who wants to gather together and ride for the
sheer pleasure and challenge of riding a century.
Therefore - there will not be the usual rest stops with
treats and other goodies that we all are used to on regular "organized rides"
However there are places such as gas stations,
convenient stores, and restaurants along the way.
I will try to get a few people lined up to possibly have designated stops
along the way- but this is not yet definate...(still in the works)
So please come prepared, bring your own snacks and other goodies.
(just in case)

I have asked my husband (Chris) to drive our vehicle
(SAG) for us....and he has agreed to do so.
I am going to see if I can find a couple more people to
help out for the other routes.

I will try to keep everyone posted. Oh, and if anyone would like
a map, please let me know.
There is the possibility that I will be changiing the route a
little bit from last years. But this is still in the works.
I will also shorten the Sunday morning breakfast ride.

Oh - we are halfway between Rockford and Galena. I74 to Bloomington, I39 to Rockford, US20 West.

Happy Riding!
