roadiegal... where are you in NoCal? I know the Grapevine was shut down due to big rigs jack-knifing in the snow. Apparently there were cars stuck there overnight and the CHP was taking food and water to everyone in the cars!
maillotpois... ugh. Yeah, it's supposed to move in here tomorrow. Right now we have a break in it and it's clear and sunny. And of course, I'm stuck in my office.![]()
There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness".
It looks like I'll be be able to get out tomorrow!although I was planning on taking some pics
Not sure if this made the news, but they also closed the 15 over the Cajon breifly last night due to snow
What 300k are you doing Fredwina? George just did the San Diego one last weekend.
uh oh....I just noticed that there is a rather large area of carpet in one corner of my house that is damp.![]()
I'm in Truckee, up near Lake Tahoe, about 45 miles west of Reno, NV.
The CHP is very good about getting cars and trucks to chain up around here. Donner Summit is treacherous going both ways when it's snowy/icy. 2 weeks ago when we had those huge storms about 50 miles of Interstate 80 was closed. That was impressive!
