I wear Shebeest windfront tights with regular padded knickers under. If you don't have knickers you can also wear kneewarmers under your tights . . . or all three.Just try not to get too bound up with layers.
Edit: check out the new version with a reflective stripe.
PS - Pay attention to the leg length as measured by the TE staff. They knows what theys talking about.
