I was born after the Bob Newhart Show went off air, but my Nanny and I watched Newhart religiously. I remember the last episode and thinking "how crazy it was all a dream!" I read that Suzanne Pleshette loved Bob Newhart's idea for the ending so much she told him she would come back from anywhere she was to shoot it.
