I am so excited, we booked our tickets to California last weekend! George Hincapie said he will be riding a few months back, I sure hope that is still true. We will get to see the Prologue, Stage 1 and *maybe* some of Stage 2. Yippee!!

We can't wait! We'll take all of the kids to the final stage on the 24th like we did last year.

I'm BUMMED! now that I'm an LBS owner- and two man show- we won't be able to go out for it this year... sigh...
But at least I have my framed pic of Levi here on the wall to keep me company.

Sure...that'd be fun...am headed to Santa Rosa to be follow the tour for stages 1 & 2 (Mon and Tue)...will be 4 of us: DGF and another couple from the Seattle area, then we're going to Calistoga for spa-ing after the boys head south to Modesto

Last year I was at the start of stage 1 in Sausalito and watched the finish (and controversial crash) in downtown SR...then the SR to Sacto stage...I think that I want to stake out a spot up on Coleman Valley Rd (like Veronica and some others did last year) this time, so as to have a great view plus vantage point...maybe do the same somewhere up on Trinity grade on Tue?

    What're your plans?

I've had the sheer joy of riding on the Mavic car the last 2 years... but due to poor planning on my part I'm gonna be doing an active tour of the Galapagos Islands during this years tour... shoulda planned it for March! LOL

Hope all you who get to see it have a fantastic time... it is amazing seeing a stage race live!
