More butterflies coming to you, your DH and everyone involved in the surgery and recovery! Please let us know that all has gone well and how you're doing with the extra stress.

    Hugs, too,

We got up at 4am and headed for the appointment 30 miles away. Everything went without a flaw. His surgery went quicker than expected and he did great! We are both exhausted from the day. I am relieved to the point of tears. I love him so much that I wished I could have taken his place. We met when I was 15 and he 17. We have been together since. Great guy.

Thanks for all of your thoughts, prayers, and pm's. What a blessing. Here is the report from my list in the first post.........

That if this surgery shouldn't take place, that there will be something in place to stop it.
There wasn't - talk about confirmation and trust building.

That the roads will be safe to drive on both going and coming.
They were!!!! We are home safely!

That the surgeon will be awake, alert, and skilled and the anesthesiologist too.
The biggest tear-filled sigh possible on this one!

    That Chris will have peace.
    He did!

That the general will be without negative consequences.
    Went perfectly!

That I will be calm and have peace.
I had as much as was possible for me!

    For quick recovery.
    We'll wait on this one!

For me to be calm and helpful, not an additional freaked out patient in the room.
    Pass.

For Chris not to throw up in the truck on the way home.
    NO PUKE!

Grandmothers and kids did great, too!

I am absolutely exhausted and I think I will curl up by him in front of the fire and watch some incredibly shootem' up kind of man movie.

I will post more tomorrow about his diagnosis and answer other questions that were asked............

Thanks for taking the time to comfort us.

    Love you guys!

Yay! I'm so glad everything went well, that's great news.

Here's to hoping for continued positive energy - a speedy healing and successful surgery that has ended all the pains of TMJ.

That's great news, Fly! Good to hear it all went smoothly. Now you get to learn the fine art of pureed food.
