Many butterflies and healing thoughts coming your way! What a surgery! let's us now how it goes.
What kind of jaw problems was he having? Mine clicks everytime i open it. But I have never thought about sugery for it. Was he in pain? Poor guy. I hope this fix is what he needs!

I don't pray, but I'm sending my best virtual butterflies and wishes. We had a tenant go through similar surgery, and all went well. Here's hoping for all those things on your wish list, with a handsome, healthy, jaw-functional guy as a result.

Let us know how it goes. I'm sorry I didn't see this yesterday or I would have let you know he can ask his surgeon for anti-nausea medication in his IV

Honestly, it will be ok. I am sending well-wishes in your direction. I've had similar surgery and I know how scary it can be. If you need anything, please PM me. I don't know what his eating restrictions will be but I have cookbooks and resources for eating liquified foods through baggies And if that isn't fabulous enough, the screws are titanium. Yes, some of us DO have titanium!

I don't know how long they estimate his recovery to be but there are some standards that just happen.

My surgery wasn't for TMJ but it had to be done. During the recovery, I never regretted it. Ever.

    Hi Flybye
Its Thursday morning here, so am not sure whether Mr. has had his surgery or is about to, but when you get back to TE, know there have been a heap of us looking forward to hearing that all is ok, and you are feeling relieved and tad less stressed with a successful operation...
