    The tire tread pattern has these half moon indentions. It was along these areas that the tire was failing. The rim was cracked more toward the center than the outside but not right next to a nipple. I recently had a broken spoke replaced...I wonder if they over-tensioned it?? Anyhow, like I said, at least it's under warranty. But I hate getting up early for a group ride, driving to the start and then finding out I can't ride.....urrgh!!!

    What kind of wheels? Brand and model of the wheel would be more useful as there may be others who have those same wheels who don't necessarily have a Ruby Pro and they've changed the wheelset that is on it, I think, each model year...

    I was wondering the same thing as Eden as one of my training buddies recently bought herself a Ruby Pro.

    Glad you found the cracks and wear before they announced themselves on a ride.
