Great job, Lynette!!!!
Good morning everyone.
I am up to 158.6 - that's up 3 pounds from last week. I mistakenly thought we were going the other way, I guess! Kidding - I actually am on the first day of the lovely time of the month and 3-4 pounds of a gain is typical for me.
Next week will be the truth kicker!
Have a great day -
ITS FRIDAY!!!!!!!

138.6-except for a cookie meltdown at my office this week I've been really well behaved and working out very consistently. Not a single glass of wine or irish coffee this week -of course those to things that right there were the main culprits for my weight gain!
I'm proud of me!

I was 147 this morning, up two.
I've had a bad couple of "premenopausal losing my mind" days. It was better to just let myself eat than to buy a Ouzi, or burn down the house, or throw myself in front of a train. I'm glad it was only two pounds.
Anyone have any suggestions on handling these out of the blue angry/depressed days?
Yea team!!!! Congrats to everyone. Today's weight for me 133. Down mainly from controlling food intake.
Roadie I wish I had an answer for you. Best thing I can think of is to find something else to do besides eat or become an ax murderer. Maybe you could take a short walk.
Yuck! I'm up, I weighed in at 118.1! Maybe it's all this flem in my body from this cold that will never go away!!!
140.2 when i got on the scale first thing this morning!! woohoo!
my starting weight was 145.6 but that might need to be amended because it was late monday morning when i did my first weigh-in.
but i'm being dedicated to my weightwatchers flex plan and riding every day, plus i did an hour on the trainer on tuesday.
i'm hungry . . .

My best suggestion was given to me by my dear friend....... When I wake up in the morning and have yet to get out of bed and I am already mad at anyone or everyone in my family, I need to realize that the problem is ME, not THEM!!
That has done more for me than I would have ever imagined. I can take responsibility for my mood, give others extra grace, and take care of myself on those days.
I try to rest more - take a nap on those days. I try to not put extra responsibilities on myself on those days. Those are the days when I let the laundry pile up or the dishes go for a day. I pamper myself a bit more on those days. One way that I used to pamper myself is by food - which I try not to do so much now, but on occasion, it just works. I just weight the cost of the guilt that I will have afterwards. Sometimes it's just worth it.

Good morning! A cold and cough have kept me from exercising this week, but I did lose one pound, so am now 179. I'm motivated!![]()
Hi,
I have been browsing these post for a while. It has been quite some time since I joined any chat line.
I have been biking for 4+ years. I lost weight 4 years ago on WW and biking. I am only 4'10" and weighed 140. Now I teeter below 120. But still have pounds to lose. I have biked centuires, bike vacations, charity weekends, etc. I am "in shape" but still have that "stuff". I also run...and doing a very poor job of training for a 1/2 marathon.
I am doing my own Biggest Loser at home and by 3/22 I need to lose 15 pounds. I have lost 2 - 3 depending on the day. I "think" I would like to join this and do the reward thing.
I jsut think the constantly trying to lose weight (especially the last 10- 15 pounds) is so hard. And now matter how active I am, I have to constantly watch my wieght. That being said...I am always falling off the wagon, needing a night "out", love my wine and work really get's inteh way of my training schedule!
So here it is...a public confession and committment to get teh weight off!

1/11 weight is 162. I'm down 1 pound. Hope to do better next week. I haven't been able to make it to the gym for spinning class this week due to working late.
One and a half weeks of working out and counting calories and I'm up a pound.(and don't say muscle weighs more than fat because I KNOW I didn't gain a pound of muscle in a week
).

Are we supposed to weigh in on Fridays? If so, I was 121.3 Friday morning. I am having a hard time getting off the xmas eat-all-you-want bandwagon. If only the chocolates and cookies were all gone. Also, I'm training and trying to eat more carbs and protein so it's hard to keep my calories down. Upside is, I'm burning lots by working out every day I guess.

katluvr,
welcome, join in, it helps to have people who understand and are supportive! falling off the wagon is to be expected, dont beat yourself up over it. but dont take it as a license to quit either, just get back in it! everyone has Their Thing that we succumb too, whether chocolate, bread, wine, so take it as a special treat for the moment and then get on with living.
yesterday morning i carefully counted out my 59 grams of ezekial cereal with my 4 ounces of skim milk, then a coworker whose family owns a mexican restaurant brings in 4 dozen mini-chimichangas!! and there are only four people on our shift, so it would have been rude not to imbibe. i limited myself to 4 - two beef, two chicken - with guacamole.
then faithfully got up this morning and once again measured out my 59 grams of ezekial cereal and 4 ounces of skim milk . . . . .
