I got out for my first outdoor ride since the start of December. I did 19 miles. I planned a slightly longer ride but decided that I wasn't really up for it. It was 36 degrees when I headed out and 42 when I returned. I was dressed pretty much spot on for the weather.

This ride was the first with my new Garmin. I thought I had it set to auto-stop when I was not moving, but it kept timing anyway. I guess I need to read the manual again. I was glad to also have my other cyclocomputer for the "true" time.
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...

You have to set that option separately for each sport. So make sure you've selected Biking:Use This Sport before going to Virtual Partner and turning on the auto-pause. (And if it turns out you did set your auto-pause in Running or Other, and you don't want it there, or you want it to pause at a slower pace than for cycling, remember to change it there, too.)
